QB NEIGHBORS Kareem 95 95 First NHS player to go over 4,000 career Total Yards.  Started two seasons at RB before taking over as QB on State Finalist '95 team.  Only player in school history to combine for 1,000 yds rushing, 500 yds receiving, and 1,000 yds passing.  Holds record for career NCAA passing rating.
RB ARMSTEAD Karl 90 90 5'7" 146lb stick of dynamite.  Produced over 2,000 Total Yards in two seasons including 1,255 rushing his senior season.  Scored 26 touchdowns.  Had 5 games over 150 yds rushing and twice scored 20 points in a game in '90.  Could not be caught from behind.  
RB SELLERS Casey 96   Big bull of a fullback, he led the team in scoring three straight seasons.  One of only four players to top 1,000 yards rushing in a season twice in their careers, also fourth in career Points Scored and career Rushing Yards.  Had eleven 100 yard games and twelve multi-touchdown games.
WR GRIMMER John 99   3rd in career receptions, fourth in both career receiving yards & touchdowns.  Had best single game ever recorded by an NHS receiver in 1998 Sectional Championship Game with 7 receptions for 247 yards and an 83 yard TD.  Caught 5 TD's in season's first six games of '99.  Averaged over 20 yards per catch for career.
WR BAILEY Tom 95 95 Tall and lanky at 6'1" 165lb, he averaged over 21 yards per reception during '95 campaign.  Became the prime target of the aerial attack when Deke Cooper moved to tailback and responded with a receiving score in each of the next four games.
TE NEIDLINGER Alex 98 98 Indiana Coaches 1st Team 5A All State selection.  6'3" 210lb receiver was unanimous selection for both papers at TE.  Ranks 7th in both career Receiving Yards and career Receptions.
OL BLALOCK Bart 95 94 '95 AP 1st Team All State.  2 time All City.  6'5" 265lb 'road grader' at offensive tackle.  Cleared the way for one of the most dominant offenses in school history.  Also excelled on defense where he recorded 12 career QB sacks from his tackle slot.
OL TOMLINSON Taurus 92 92 Rare 4 year varsity starter on offense.  Started final two seasons both ways.  At only 5'11" 225lb made up for size with great strength, speed, and desire.  When injuries depleted running back corps in '91, took over in the backfield for a three game stretch.
OL HOLMAN Aaron 96 96 6'2" 230lb guard with great technique and quick feet.  Started on State Finalist team and then anchored '96 line.  Originally a soccer player, did not take up football until his sophomore season.  Capable defender also recorded 21 solo tackles and 3 sacks in '96
OL WRIGHT Andre 96 96 One of two juniors to start in offensive line for '95 State Finalist team.  At 6'3" 235lb, had speed and agility to start at center and then make move outside to tackle when personnel changed.
OL AMES Scott 92 92 Older and larger (6'0" 260lb) of two Ames brothers to make All-City during '90's.  A barrel-chested 'power blocker', he could blow open holes in the defense.  Cleared way for RB Rodney Gibson's 1,000 yard campaign in 92.  
K McCUTCHAN Jason 97   3 year starter, sits third on career Kicking Points list with 84 and tied for first in career Field Goals.  Also ranks 3rd in for Kicking Points in a season with 42 in 1995.

DB COOPER Deke 95 94 '95 AP 1st Team All State selection.  Highest profile football player in school history.  NFL veteran.  Holds record for most defensive rating points in a season (202 '95).  Excelled at three positions--DB, RB, WR.  3 year starter also made All-City Hon Mention in '93.  Could nullify any opponent's biggest offensive threat.
DB GRAYSON Buster 92 92 Hard nosed two way threat who also excelled as a punter.  At 6'2" 195lb was big for a defensive back and recorded 5 QB sacks on safety blitz' his senior year.  Caused 5 fumbles, recovering 2, and picked off three passes.  Also scored 15 TD's and ran for 800 yards in career.
DB BEVERLY William 96 95 Like Cooper in that he was an all around player.  Played cornerback and picked off two passes, recovered two fumbles, forced a fumble, and made 25 solo tackles on State Finalist team.  Averaged 19 yards a reception and 6.1 yards per carry on offense. 
DB GIBSON Rodney 92 92 6'0" 192lb cornerback had sensational senior season on NHS' first Sectional Championship team.  Had 43 solo tackles and 34 assists along with 2 interceptions (returned one for TD) and 4 fumble recoveries.  Ran for 1,000 yards and 15 touchdowns in final season including 256 yard game vs Castle.  
LB PATTERSON Joe 95 95 5'11" 222lb three year starter at linebacker.  Ranks 6th in career Solo Tackles with 106.  Hard nosed and a ferocious hitter. Forced and recovered fumble in waning minutes of '95 game vs. Reitz that allowed Huskies to mount come from behind winning drive.
LB FOX Kenon 94 94 6'2" 235lb three year two-way starter.  Won All City recognition from one paper at Linebacker and the other at Center.  Great range for a man his size.  Allowed no one to run up the middle.
LB LUCKETT Stephan 90   A 'Throw Back' player to days when the game was played with leather helmets.  A 'mean' player on defense.  One of the all-time leaders in tackle assists, he never gave up on any play.  Tough to block with excellent lateral movement.
DL DOZIER John 94 94 6'2" 225lb three year starter at defensive end.  Holds record for career QB Sacks with 20.  Also ranks second for single season QB sacks with 10.  A 'blue collar' type player--great work ethic who practiced hard and played harder.
DL CAREY Matt 90 90 At 5'11" 225 he excelled on both sides of the line of scrimmage.  Was also known as a 'drive' blocker on offense.  Used technique to overcome comparative lack of height to other linemen.  Very mobile and agile along interior line allowing him to clog holes before they opened.
DL MILLER Jarad 98 98 6'3" 250lb tackle who continued to develop every season.  Actually made All City as offensive guard but was even better on defense.  Had best game of career in '98 team's stunning sectional upset of then #2 ranked Harrison.  A 'big game' player.
DL ERNSPIGER Eric 95 95 6'1" 270lb tackle was fast as well as big.  Another lineman who was actually selected for All City status as an offensive lineman but was more dominant on defense.  A two year starter on what is considered North's best team.
P BARNES Nick 96 95 '96 2 time All City selection.  Stood 5'11" 190lb and was selected both seasons by both newspapers to the All City team.  Averaged over 38 yards per punt in his senior season.
