A two-way star, ranked in top 10 in career tackles & interceptions. Tall for a running back, possessed blazing speed and ran with slashing style. |
WR | STEWART | Brandon | '06 | '06 | Indiana Coaches "Top 50" All-State selection. Established school marks with 93 receptions, 1,736 yards, and 19 TD's receiving in a career. Set record with 8 TD catches in a single season as junior. Was also a dangerous punt returner and top defensive back. |
WR | SCOTT | Mike | '04 | '03 | Set school record for receptions (42) and receiving yards (773) in a single season. A physical specimen, he received recognition at linebacker as well and ranks in top 10 in career tackles. Fast for a big man, could play either tight end or wide out. |

OL | PORTER | Jared | '01 | '00 '01 | Two time All City selection (Courier & QB Club). 6'2", 280lb three year starter and a great run blocker. Perhaps his best quality was his ability to "think the game" and recognize opponent's defensive schemes. |
OL | UPTON | Mason | '03 | '03 | 6'2", 260lb offensive guard with great agility. An athletic player with many skills he also excelled in the class room. Leader of an offensive line that allowed RB Kendall O'Donnell to have six 200 yard rushing games in his career. |
OL | POAG | Eric | '04 | '03 '04 | Two time All City selection. 6'4" 265lb guard who was possibly the most athletic lineman to ever attend NHS. Had the gifts to challenge running backs in agility drills and sprints during practice. Possessed great strength as well as speed. |

DB | JACKSON | Stephen | '07 | '07 | Established school mark for career Solo Tackles with 130 breaking 44 year old mark. Recorded 70 solos in senior season--good for third best season total all time. Excelled at run support, a punishing tackler and fierce competitor. |
DB | BECK | Jeff | '02 | '02 | At 5'9" 170lb, made up for slight stature with blue collar work ethic and ability to take in and observe the entire field of play. Recorded 9 career interceptions. Intelligent and a scholar in the classroom, he led the defensive backfield as though he were a coach. |
DB | LOWERY | Bryce | '04 | '04 | A two way star, he holds season records for passing yards, TD's, and attempts. As a defensive back, his game against Mater Dei in his senior season in which he picked of two passes and ran one back for a TD against the state's leading passer is the stuff of legends. |
DB | MADISON | Antonnieo | '00 | '00 | A 5'10" 195lb cornerback, he was characterized as "lightning in a bottle". An explosively fast runner, he could essentially cover the entire field once the ball was in the air. Returned three kicks for TD's in his career and added over 1000 career rushing yards and scored 14 times. |
LB | MERRIWEATHER | Larry | '07 | '06 '07 | 3 year starter on both sides of the ball. Among North's career leaders in TEN different categories. Finished 7th in career solo tackles and was a bone jarring tackler. Also one of only three to ever rush for more than 40 TD's and ranks 5th in all-time rushing yards. |
LB | TAYLOR | Lawrence | '02 | '02 | A big man at linebacker, he possessed exceptional ability to read an offense and diagnose a play. Exceptional against the run, he was the type of linebacker who played 'down hill'. |
LB | CLEMENTS | Cameron | '09 | '08 '09 | 5'11" 220lb 'hitter' who racked up 110 career solo unassisted tackles, 6 QB sacks, and 2 interceptions. Twice named All-City he also had an outstanding career as a fullback running for 11 TD's, 795 yards, and holding the distinction of never having been tackled for a loss. DL | JOHNSON | Boo Boo | '00 | Possibly the strongest player to ever play for North, he holds several weightlifting records. Recorded 23 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, and caused 10 fumbles as he wreaked havoc from his tackle position. Also filled in occasionally at fullback and reputed to run 4.9 sec 40 yds. | |
DL | LEWIS | Jordan | '06 | '06 | Indiana Coaches 5A 1st Team All State selection. A consumate leader on the field and in the weight room, he was dedicated to maximizing his potential. A threat to block a pass or sack the QB on every play, he forced teams to build game plans that went the other direction. |
DL | CLEMENTS | Chris | '05 | '05 | At only 5'9" 205lb, he made up for his short height by being explosive off the line of scrimmage. Coaches claim his 'first ten yards' speed was as fast as most running backs. Ranks 2nd in career Sacks of the Quarterback with 16. Brothers of Cameron Clements, listed above. |
DL | GARRETT | Marcus | '09 | '09 | 5'9" 285lb three year starter. Tremendously quick off the ball, he racked up 84 solo unassisted tackles (5th highest total by a defensive lineman in school history) and 9 sacks of the QB. Selected 1st team All-SIAC as an offensive guard his senior season. Named winner of Morris Riley Award for Team M.V.P. in 2009. Son of Mark Garrett, member of the 70's All Decade Team. |
P | MILLER | Mike | '00 | '98 | At 6'5" 200lb the ball leapt off the big man's foot and generated tremendous hang time. Excelled at defensive end recording 61 solo tackles his junior season while picking off two passes. Also played center for the basketball team. |
