Game Recap

KNIGHTS AIR ASSAULT BOMBS HUSKIES 44-0

Picking up where they left off three weeks earlier, the Castle Knights went to the air in a 44-0 Sectional win over North.  The Huskies were overwhelmed for six touchdowns through the air and compounded issues with four personal fouls for either targeting or unsportsmanlike conduct.  North's lone highlight came when junior Reid McIntire returned an attempted on-sides kick by Castle 46 yards to the Knights' five yard line.  The return went for naught when the Huskies 4th and goal pass fell incomplete.

The game was decided well before halftime, but the Huskies came out in the third quarter and tried to take advantage of an undersized Castle defensive line by committing to a power running game.  North's first possession drove 54 yards to the Castle 26 and generated five first downs but stalled when another fourth down pass fell incomplete.  When Castle tossed a 60 yard TD pass just four plays later, the contest became an exchange of punts as North battled the Castle second unit for the remainder of the game.

The Huskies finished the season 1-9.  The 185 points surrendered in the season's final four games were the most points allowed by any Husky team in history over a four game span, breaking a record of 182 set during the final four games of the 2010 season.
