PRINCETON TAKES CHARGE IN SECOND HALF OF 66-48 WIN OVER NORTH

The North Huskies stormed out of the gate in the first game of the 2024-2025 season by sinking 6 of their first 8 shots on the way to a 14-6 first quarter lead.  A fresh 2-3 zone stymied the Princeton Tigers for the first one-and-a-half quarters of the game, however the opponents recovered and begin to exploit gaps in the defense.  Both teams shot 52% from the field in the first half, but only the Tigers were able to sustain that pace after the break.  Where North fell off to just 31% after intermission, Princeton found ways to spot open shooters in or around the basket and picked up their pace to a red-hot 72% on 13 of 18 shooting.  The Tigers won going away by a score of 66-48.

Bryson Chapman led all North scorers with 14 points and he was supported by fellow junior Carson Cashmer with 13.
