HUSKIES WIN 43-42 CLIFFHANGER OVER JASPER

Trailing 38-31 to Jasper with just under five minutes to play, the Husky defense came up big and the duo of D.J. Redding and Cameron Seaton started sinking shots.  Aggressive defense forced the Wildcats to either turn the ball over and attempt ill-chosen shots.  With junior Seth Seniour sweeping the boards and whipping the ball down court, Seaton first drained a three point shot from NBA range and then took a pass in the lane on the next possession and hit a turn-around jump shot.  Redding scored the next two buckets for the Huskies--the second being a layup on which he was fouled.

When the junior guard sank the free throw it gave the Huskies a lead at 41-40.  The coup-de-grace was delivered by senior center Ryan Huebner who sank two clutch free throws with just six seconds on the clock to set the final score and insure the victory.
