HUSKIES NO MATCH FOR TITANS IN 85-47 LOSS

Squaring off against a team that many sources rank among the top 20 in the entire nation, the Huskies came up short of the mark against Indianapolis Arsenal Tech last Saturday.  The Titans jumped out to a 24-12 first quarter lead and never looked back as they coasted to an 85-47 win.

6'10" center Trey Lisle, an early commit to the University of Kentucky, put up 26 points in barely more than two quarters of play and the speed of the Titans back court forced 22 turnovers in the victory.  The Huskies managed just 33% shooting from the field and lost the rebounding battle 44-26.  Guard CJ Hedgepeth led North in scoring with 12 points but managed just 27% from the field while committing 8 turnovers.  Guard Robert West continued his balanced production with 11 points and 7 rebounds but had a season high six turnovers.

While not the Huskies finest night, it was not for lack of effort or hustle.  A large percentage of their rebounds occurred as they hustled for every loose ball and they committed turnovers as they continued to take the fight to a larger, faster opponent.  North contested the outcome until the final buzzer but the disparity in size and speed was overwhelming.
