Game Recap

TIGERS MAUL HUSKIES 41-12

Unable to move the ball on offense and having been scorched for four touchdown passes on defense, the North Huskies fell behind 34-0 on their way to a 41-12 loss to Memorial Friday night at Romain Stadium.  With Enlow Field being remodeled, the game was moved to Harrison's home field and the change of venue had little affect on the Tigers.

North either punted or failed to convert fourth down on all of the Huskies' first eight possessions.  The Tigers, however, scored on their first play from scrimmage with a 58 yard run and never looked back.  North's two scores came late in the game long after the Memorial starting unit had left the field. 

The loss was North's fifth consecutive loss to the Tigers and their seventeenth loss against an SIAC opponent in their last 18 contests.  During that string, SIAC opponents have outscored the Huskies 642 to 292.

North's next game will be at home against the Harrison Warriors on Friday and the Huskies are hoping to break a two game losing streak to the east side school.  With the Warriors sporting an 0-3 record and having been outscored 119 - 35 this season, the Jeff Sagarin Computer Ratings have established the Huskies as a nine point favorite in the game.
