NORTH OPENS LEBANON HOLIDAY TOURNEY WITH 93-72 WIN

The North Huskies Boys Basketball team blistered the nets in an opening round 93-72 win over the University High School Trailblazers (Carmel) at the Lebanon Holiday Tournament. North shot 56% from the field and 83% from the free throw line while holding the Blazers to just 38%. Senior Brayden Huebner 'blew up' for a season high 27 points to go with 6 assists, 4 steals, and four rebounds. Cayden Gelhausen rang up 17 points and 7 rebounds while Keamare Barnes added 14 points to the effort.
The Huskies play the Mooresville Pioneers in a second round match up at 10am Eastern time on Friday morning. The Pioneers have a 4-6 record after beating Indianapolis Metropolitan 42-36 in the first round. The Huskies are now 5-2 on the season and according to the Sagarin Computer rankings are an 11 point favorite against Mooresville.
