SECOND HALF COLLAPSE DOOMS HUSKIES IN 61-47 LOSS

The North Huskies let a 24-16 half-time lead over the Jeffersonville Red Devils (ranked #10 in Indiana) in the USI Shootout slip away and lost by 14 points.  The Red Devils scored the first 13 points of the third quarter to take a five point lead.  The Huskies rallied on a driving lay up by senior Cameron Gelhausen followed by an "and one" free throw to cut the lead to two later in the period, but Jeffersonville proved too much down the stretch.  After having missed 13 consecutive shots to end the first half, Jeffersonville finished the game by hitting a blazing nine of their final ten shots.  Senior Ryan Caddell led North scorers with 11 points.
