RED HOT 3RD QUARTER LIFTS HUSKIES TO 53-40 WIN

While the North Huskies never trailed in a thirteen point victory over Vincennes Lincoln, it was an explosion of four consecutive baskets in the third quarter that put the game away.  The Alices had stayed within five to seven points of North throughout the game until three minutes remained in the third period.

Junior Cameron Gelhausen banged home a three from the top of the key and then senior Chandler Moore was fouled while shooting a three and made all the free throws.  Next was senior Dom Redding's turn to take the ball to the hole, make the basket, draw a foul, and hit the "and one".  Moore then buried a three and the Huskies had an insurmountable lead.  While Vincennes closed the gap later, junior Ryan Caddell steadied the ship with a deep three pointer and North sank its free throws down the stretch to prevail in a 13 point victory.
