HUSKIES SNAP STREAK WITH 70-57 VICTORY OVER HARRISON AND WIN TOURNEY
The North Huskies won the Forest Park Holiday Tourney with
an impressive 70-57 victory over the Harrison Warriors. The win was all the more
impressive as it snapped a 29 game losing streak against Harrison. The Huskies
last beat them in the 2004 Sectional opener.
Chandler Moore was named to the First Team All-Tournament squad.
He capped off his tourney with an amazing 'Double Double' that was very nearly a
triple. He scored 21, pulled down 10 rebounds, and had 8 assists. Ryan
Caddell added ten points and was named to the 2nd Team All-Tournament
squad. Dom Redding had 11 points and Cameron Gelhausen scored
14.
The Huskies are off to a 6-1 start on the season and travel to Jeffersonville
Tuesday night.
