HUSKIES WIN OPENER BIG WITH 65-35 VICTORY IN RIVER CITY CLASSIC

The North Huskies won their season opener in basketball by 30 points this morning at The Ford Center.  In beating Gibson Southern 65-35, senior Chandler Moore led all scorers with 18 points including a pair of thunderous second half dunks.

Fellow senior Dom Redding added 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals.  Junior Aidan Blackford put up solid numbers in every column with 9 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, 3 deflections and a blocked shot.

The Huskies next game is Wednesday night at home against the Princeton Tigers.
