STRONG BENCH LEADS WAY IN 80-57 WIN OVER WOLF PACK

The Huskies got a surge of scoring off the bench in an 80-57 victory over Crawford County.  While Chandler Moore again led all North scorers with 15 points, the bench accounted for 35 of the Huskies' 80 points in the game.  After the starting unit turned the ball over 10 times in the first quarter, sophomores Scott Bunnell, Cameron Decker, and Aidan Blackford entered the game, settled down the offense, and opened up a lead that would stretch to 13 points in the period.  Bunnell finished the game with 14 points after hitting three consecutive three point attempts within minutes of entering the game.

The second half of the game saw North driving and cutting to the basket more so than in the first half and the results showed up at the free throw line.  The Wolf Pack committed 16 second half fouls as they attempted to stop North's drives to the basket.  Junior guard Dylan McKinney sank 11 of 12 free throws in the game and senior center Tristan Fisher produced all ten of his points and all seven of his rebounds after intermission.
