HUSKIES COMPLETE BEST SEASON IN A DECADE WITH 53-37 WIN OVER VINCENNES LINCOLN

North out-shot, out-defended, out-rebounded, and out-hustled a demoralized Vincennes Lincoln ball club in a 16 point victory Friday night.  The win gave North their first 12 victory season since '04 and their first back-to-back winning seasons since '99-'00.  Guard Damar Young led the Huskies in scoring for the second game in a row with 13 points and Brock Underwood led the Huskies with 7 rebounds.

Vincennes, playing without three suspended seniors, played with spirit for the first quarter, but began to show signs that they were intimidated by North's size and speed late in the first half.  North broke away to a seven point lead at half-time and then 'shut down' Vincennes in the third quarter.  By the final period, both teams were running delay offenses and simply letting the clock run.

IN THE JAYVEE GAME:  Freshman Tyler Hagedorn ripped the nets for 19 points (including 5 of 5 from three point range) as the Huskies held off a hard charging Vincennes squad in a 42-40 victory.  For a complete Jayvee box score click here.
