PANTHERS ACCEPT CHARITY IN 76 TO 65 WIN OVER HUSKIES
On the strength of a 20 for 21 performance at 'the charity stripe', the Reitz Panthers won their re-match with North in the Old National Bank SIAC Tournament consolation round. For their part, the Huskies shot 51% from the field, out-rebounded the Panthers, and forced 14 turnovers--all stats that would normally be indicative of a victory. Instead, North received only 6 free throw attempts (hitting 5) and had 18 turnovers of their own in the loss.
Senior Drew Watters led the Huskies in scoring with 15 and sophomore Austin Elmore led the team in rebounds with 11.
