HUSKIES BLITZ PANTHERS 63-60
The North Huskies used a big second half blitz on the offensive boards to overcome a Reitz lead and win 63-60. The Panthers led by as many as 11 points throughout the game's first three quarters and led 51-50 with just 6 minutes to play. North's rebounding advantage began to take its toll with "second" shots and the Huskies pulled away down the stretch. Jaylen Chambers again led North scorers with 20 points and "Big" Mike Johnson contributed a "double-double" with 15 points and 14 rebounds.
In the JayVee game, the Huskies fell behind early and lost ground throughout the first three quarters. Reitz led 50-29 before a furious press by North allowed the Huskies to score the game's final 12 points. Sophomore Chase Whitler led North scorers with 13 points.
