Gott North's lone selection to 2008 Courier All Metro Team:

Senior WR James Gott was selected to the 2009 Evansville Courier All Metro Team.  Gott's selection marked the 20th time in the 50 year history of the program that North placed a wide receiver on the Courier and/or Press teams.  The 5'9" senior caught 38 passes for 528 yards and 5 touchdowns in his final season with the Huskies.

Two Huskies elected to the Evansville Quarterback Club All-City Team:

Juniors Cameron Clements and Marcus Garrett were both voted onto the All-City team by their varsity football peers across the city.  Clements was selected first team at linebacker and Garrett was chosen as a first team defensive lineman.

Huskies Announce Season Ending Awards at Annual Banquet:

The 2008 Awards were announced at the annual football banquet on Tuesday night, November 18.  Below is a list of the award winners:

OUTSTANDING OFFENSIVE BACK:  Travis Carlile, senior

OUTSTANDING WIDE RECEIVER:  James Gott, senior, and Mitch Parker, senior

OUTSTANDING OFFENSIVE LINEMAN:  Josh Douglas, senior

OUTSTANDING DEFENSIVE LINEMAN:  Marcus Garrett, junior

OUTSTANDING LINEBACKER:  Chris Clements, junior

OUTSTANDING DEFENSIVE BACK:  Drew Hawkins, senior
